WebP to PNG / JPG Converter
Turn WebP images into PNG or JPG files that every app, editor and printer can open — in batches, without uploading anything.
How to convert WebP images
- Add your WebP filesDrag & drop, browse, or paste them here — as many as you need.
- Pick PNG or JPGPNG keeps every pixel and preserves transparency; JPG gives you smaller files for photos.
- DownloadSave each converted file, or grab the whole batch with “Download all”.
What is WebP, anyway?
WebP is a modern image format developed by Google that compresses photos and graphics more efficiently than JPG or PNG — which is why so many websites serve it. The catch is compatibility: older operating systems, some photo editors, printers and upload forms still choke on .webp files.
This converter decodes WebP right in your browser and re-encodes it as a universally supported PNG or JPG. No upload, no waiting — conversion starts the moment you drop the file.
FAQ
Does converting WebP to PNG lose quality?
No. PNG output is lossless — the pixels match the WebP exactly. JPG output re-compresses the image, which can introduce a slight, usually invisible loss.
Will transparency survive the conversion?
With PNG output, yes — transparent areas stay transparent. With JPG output they are filled with white, because JPG cannot store transparency.
The converted file is bigger than the WebP — why?
That is expected. WebP is more efficient than PNG and JPG, so compatibility comes at a size cost. If you need the file small again for the web, use the image compressor.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser — no server sees your files.
