How to rotate or flip an image

  1. Add your imageDrop it above, browse for it, or paste it from the clipboard.
  2. Rotate or flipUse the buttons — the preview updates instantly and you can combine as many rotations and flips as you like.
  3. DownloadSave the result as PNG (lossless) or JPEG (smaller), at full original resolution.

When do you need this?

Photos sometimes come out sideways from a camera or scanner, screenshots and scans often need a quarter turn, and flipped images are handy for design work — mirroring a product photo so it faces the right way, for example. This tool handles all of it instantly, without opening a heavy editor.

Rotations and flips never change the pixels themselves, so quality is exactly preserved — especially as PNG output. If your photo appears rotated after downloading from another tool, it may carry wrong EXIF orientation data; re-saving it here bakes the correct orientation into the pixels.

FAQ

Does rotating reduce image quality?

No — rotating and flipping just move pixels around. PNG output is completely lossless. JPEG output re-encodes once at high quality, which is visually indistinguishable.

Can I combine rotations and flips?

Yes. Click any buttons in any order — for example flip horizontally, then rotate 90°. The preview always shows the exact result before you download.

How do I fix a sideways photo?

Load it, click the rotate button that turns it upright, and download. The saved file will display upright everywhere, even in apps that ignore EXIF orientation.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing happens in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
